BARNEL PRUNERS
Barnel pruners offer a wonderful alternative to the standard pruner: lightweight and ergonomic, sized to fit your hand with no sharpening and patented oil-itself technology-much easier on stressed gardeners' hands. B7 pruners are perfect for a women's smaller hands. Many men prefer the B7 (7"), also. Larger hands will appreciate the B8 (8") pruner. Both pruners
cut 3/4" canes easily and boast patented technology that a serious gardener will enjoy. Easy to use with sore or arthritic hands, Barnel has been a hugely popular product at rose and garden shows and conventions all over the country.

The B7 is the most popular Barnel model with rose growers. It is a very lightweight 7" pruner with a cold-tempered steel blade, the toughest in the industry. A smaller pruner for a smaller hand, it makes big 3/4" cuts with little effort. The blade is knife sharp and the Barnel pruner features less resistance in the handles while you prune, a very useful feature when you are making repetitive cuts or if you have carpal tunnel or arthritis in your hands. It is a workhorse, yet doesn't need sharpening and needs infrequent oiling due to a patented oil reservoir that oils as you prune. Handy features include a 2 stage top lock that can be set to a deadhead, 1/2 open position, requiring less effort form your hands and perfect for making smaller cuts and a large sap groove that will not clog or stick. Blades, springs and locks are replaceable, but in the 4 years that we have sold these pruners, we have not had requests for replacements. Comments include, "We love our Barnels. Once we got them, we never picked up our old pruners." Give these a try; you'll agree.
The B8 Barnel pruner is the larger version of the popular B7 pruner. The B8 (8" pruner) also features the cold-tempered steel blade that makes easy 3/4" cuts, the self-oiling reservoir, 2 stage lock and large sap groove. If you do a lot of pruning in your garden, the lightweight Barnel B8 or B7 will be your preferred pruner. Choose the pruner based upon the size of your hand and the span of your fingers. If you have longer fingers or a large hand, the B8 is for you. Rose growers love their Barnels and have been raising their voices echoing our opinions about this superior product. We think you will agree.

The B393 mini pruner is another great Barnel tool. Shown and made popular at the rose shows where The Rose Gardener has set up tables, this small pruner has now been picked up by one of the large rose growers and placed in their catalogues. We are proud to have brought the Barnel line to the attention of serious rose growers and gardeners everywhere!
