Q: What methods of payment do you accept?
We accept all credit cards through Paypal Checkout, our Merchant Service Provider for online orders.
Q: How can I use my own credit card (not PayPal)?
After you get to Paypal, choose the option that you don't have an account and use your own credit card.
Q: Can I pay by check?
Yes. After entering your order select the option to pay by check and mail a payment.
You can also choose this option and call us at 404-771-9300 EST to use your credit card.
Q. Do you accept phone orders? Yes. We welcome phone orders, but only accept Visa and Mastercard by phone. If we are unable to answer your call, please leave a message with your name, phone number and location (so we don't call California at 7AM) and we will return your call. Please don't leave credit card information on our voice mail.
Q: What happened to my order??? I pressed the back button (after going to PayPal) to see my cart but there was nothing in the cart and I had to start all over and re-type my order. Now I seem to have entered my order twice. What do I do? Don't worry; I'll delete the duplicate order. When you pressed the back button, you inadvertently entered your order, but did not complete the payment process. You can call or email me and I'll complete your order by phone. If I don't hear from you, I'll probably call you to finish the process.
Q: How long after I place my order will you ship my products? All Harlane Garden Markers and labels are custom printed when you order them Some orders ship in 2-3 days, but orders are handled as they come in and may take about a 1-2 weeks at our busier times. If you are participating in a garden tour, please indicate if you have a date they must be to you and we will be able to meet those dates. If you have sent orders to our previous NJ address, the time frame might sometimes be a little longer due to forwarding.
For all other products ordered, we do our very best to have all orders - placed by 12:00 p.m. (EST) - shipped within two business days after payment has cleared. We will notify you if your shipment is delayed. Please call if you have shipping concerns.
We are a small family operation and there are times we are away at garden shows, conventions or other events and our shipping might be delayed. I try to notify you by email when orders come in at these times.
Q: What if I order the incorrect size glove? Call for proper exchange authorization and we will be glad to exchange the glove for a different size or style glove. Please re-measure your hand and we will help you determine your best size. Send the gloves back to us, postage paid, and we will pay the postage 1 time for an exchange.
Q: What are your shipping charges? You are charged according to your order total for Harlane markers. We charge actual shipping costs based upon the weight of products in your order for all other parts of your purchase. The Post Office requires parcels to be mailed US Priority Mail if they are greater than 13 ounces. Therefore, shipping charges across the country may differ from orders mailed on the East Coast.
Q: What method of shipment do you provide? We now give you the option to choose USPS Mail, Priority Mail or UPS. With U.S. Mail and Priority Mail there is an extra charge to insure your packages. $1.35 per $25.00 order, but both methods are often more economical then UPS Ground Shipping due to additional residential, gas and "rural" charges imposed by UPS.
Q: What countries do you ship to? At this time we only ship in the United States. You may contact us if you would like us to ship elsewhere. Due to spam and fraud issues, we must have a personal contact to consider shipping outside the U.S.
Q: Why does your voice mail answer, "Hello this is Wendy with Harlane, The Rose Gardener, or Garden with Us?" We're a very small company with 3 names due to our garden show events and our addition of the Harlane Garden Label name to our smaller previous company. Don't worry, we are not sharing your information with anyone. But, do visit our other site when you have a chance.

Q: What are your store hours?
We do not operate a retail store. Our rose gardens are open by appointment. Please complete our contact form or call us to arrange a suitable time.
Q: Do you just know about roses?
No. Our garden tools and accessories are geared towards all gardeners with the purpose and mission to make everyone's gardening hobby more enjoyable and more healthy. However, we do specialize in rose information and offer access to the best rose newsletter in the Southeast, The Georgia Rose
Q: Can we get Harlane or The Rose Gardener to come to an event in our hometown?
Please contact us if you would like us to attend an event or speak at your garden club or rose society meeting.

Q: What is your return policy?
GARDEN GLOVES: Gloves may be exchanged for a different size/style with prior authorization if they are in new, resellable condition with original packaging. Gloves may be returned for any reason within 30 days, per manufacturer warranty. Please contact us if you feel there is excessive wear within 40 days. Gloves may not be returned if they are cut or otherwise made defective from improper use.
: Tools may be returned for full refund in unused, new condition within 30 days. Please contact us for instructions if you believe them to be defective.
HARLANE GARDEN MARKERS AND LABELS
: Labels are custom-printed per customer request and may not be returned. They may be replaced/exchanged if defective or for spelling errors due to Harlane mistakes.
Q: What about SPELLING errors?
We try to correct misspelled rose names to match the Rose names are spelled as they were registered by the hybridizer and are recorded in Modern RosesXII or in the current year Handbook of Rose Names. As Harlane modernizes and accepts all plant names and layouts from customers, it is the responsibility of our customers to assure correct spelling because we will print names as they are written when requested.
